Chapter 20

Mallory

It’s morning and Clifton is still in bed with me, unlike Blake, who was out of bed as soon as the sun rises to get ready for work.

Lying on top of him with my head resting on his chest and his powerful arms around me, the same position we were in when we fell asleep, is heavenly. He’s still fast asleep. My pussy and I wore him out.

I think back to our sexy night together, as well as the way in which he mentioned it’s usually better if three people do it, and his pause after I said we should let Blake know about our whereabouts.

I swear there’s more going on between those two than even they know. Or at least that there’s more they both want to be going on, although it’s pretty clear neither of them want to admit it.

I want to stay right here on this bed all day, but there’s a problem, something I didn’t think about when, overcome by lust, I decided to spend the night with Clifton. My morning sickness is going to kick in any time now, and the ginger tea Georgiana brewed for me is in my room at Blake’s house.

Clifton will no doubt want to have sex when he wakes up, but I’ll be too sick. But then, maybe Clifton should learn the complications of being with a pregnant woman.

I feel the first tinge of morning sickness. It quickly gets worse. I need to sit up.

As I am getting out of Clifton’s embrace, he stirs. I sit on the edge of the bed. Clifton opens his eyes.

He says, “Good morning.”

He strokes my thigh.

I watch his dick awaken and stiffen into a thick, pulsing rod—a beautiful work of art.

I say, “I’m sorry. I’ve got morning sickness.”

“Morning sickness?” he replies.

He sits up beside me. He dicks stands upright, as if listening to what we say.

He says, “I heard some women on the production crew of my show talking about morning sickness. From what they said, it can be brutal.”

I say, “It’ll be gone by lunch time.”

He puts an arm around my shoulders. I lean against him.

He says, “I’m sorry. I should’ve been thinking about this when I brought you here.”

“I decided to spend the night.”

“I gave you the incentive.”

“Don’t beat yourself up. It goes with the territory.”

“Do you take something for it?”

“Ginger tea.”

“I don’t have any ginger, but I remember a remedy that the women on my production crew talked about. Maybe I can whip something up.”

I have a better understanding of Blake and Clifton. Blakes tries to prevent problems from happening. Clifton doesn’t foresee problems, but when problems happen, he tries to fix them.

I’m curious about whether there’s been any new coverage of Blake’s “mystery woman.” I take the remote from the nightstand and turn on the TV in front of the bed. I flip through the early morning news shows until I find a show on which the male-female anchor team is talking about Blake.

The female anchor says, “The identity
